Thank you for instaling new motor,think its quieter then when I first got my chair. However the motor is so quiet now a slight grinding noise seems to be coming from the rear. Think it possible be bearing from caster wheel. It sounds similar to if you got a rock in your brake pad on your car. I will try some greese and see if it goes away, if not I will give you a call. It still quieter then before😃 so great job! And thank you for getting it done and back to me the same day! I appreciate it.Had to add really appreciate Micheal coming all the way out to fix my boo boo 😆 he is very knowledgeable and very adaptable working on my chair. My chair has never ran so good! The slight grinding noise seemed to work itself out on its own my chair is so quiet now! Thanks for the great service!

I accidentally hurt my finger while I returned the wheel chair I rent. It looks nasty and bleeding, snd Nancy, who is the lovely assistant not just helped me to get the wheel chair in and also gave me a band-aid. Thanks to her for saving my day.

Since my husbands stroke 2 years ago it has been a nightmare in getting educated on what products are available to help my husband's mobility issues. Emiliia and her co-workers @ Assist Health have been the 1st sales staff that I have met that have great product knowledge. On top of that they understand the need to be patient when doing a show'n'tell of equipment, such a battery operated scooters & wheelchairs. Emillia's patience with my husband as he was trying them out was amazing. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for healthcare equipment & supplies.

Assist Health Supplies in Calgary is a great company to deal with. Their employees, Nancy, Josh and Emiliia were very helpful. Nancy not only showed us the products we were interested in but encouraged us to take our time and try them out. She answered any questions we had; was not the least bit pushy. Every piece of equipment we tried, we were given the opportunity to use both inside and outside to see if it met our needs. Although we had dealt with another health supply store, this service went above and beyond.

Emiliia was wonderful to deal with, I needed to rent a wheelchair while recovering from a knee injury. My first wheelchair had a faulty wheel and they replaced the chair promptly. I recommend anyone to use their services if required.

After years of seating systems made for our daughter, we finally got a winner with new vendor in town Assist Health Supplies.Mike at Assist made the experience that respected the client and caregiver. We worked together and tried out different systems. This option ended up giving one of the best seats she ever had. As well had them do a regular maintenance on porch lift. Tech did a great job! Assist Health Supplies is a breath of fresh air for the Medicine Hat area.

I strongly recommend Assist Medical Supplies. It is a company that can be trusted. Nancy, who professionally and proficiently operates the business, is friendly, approachable with a wealth of knowledge on her products and merchandise. She cares about her customers and diligently strives to accommodate their desires and needs.I am happy to have found Assist Medical supplies after my disappointing experiences with Co-Op Home Health. Assist Medical Supplies had the exact product on stock that I needed - a product that Co-Op, still didn’t have in stock six months after placing the order. I was so impressed with how Nancy treated me as a customer that I purchased a lifting chair. She gave me a 10% discount too!! I was also impressed with her technician, who gave me same day service to check on a minor mechanical issue with the chair. He was able to correct the small issue within five minutes.I will continue to take my business to Assist Medical Supplies for all my health and wellness supplies.

Had the best experience with both of their customer service representatives. Emiliia promptly responded to my email inquiry and had everything ready for me when I arrived. When I got there I decided I wanted to add a cane, both her and Nancy helped me pick one and get it set up so I felt stable and got my mobility back. Further, when Emiliia saw me struggling to get the knee scooter folded, they came out to help me. Would absolutely recommend this place for all your medical supply needs as Emiliia and Nancy will make sure you are well taken care of.

Recently I found Assist Health online and visited the store in Calgary. Looking for a 2 wheeled glide walker for my husband who has Parkinson’s.Nancy was super knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. She even suggested special cutlery which was on sale.I bought the walker but my husband couldn’t manage it and absolutely did not want it. Although recommended by the O TAfter 2 days I returned the walker and Nancy was able to refund the entire purchase.Nancy was a joy to deal with.Thank you so much.

I called Assist Health Supplies to inquire about a raised toilet seat, not only did Nancy explain exactly what I needed but when I popped into the store Toby and Cliff put the seat together to make sure I purchased the right fit for my size. If you've had your own experiences caring for an elderly loved one in your home - you know it goes without saying that it's difficult. And extremely difficult when your elderly loved one gets sick or injured. It's an added layer of stress. THANKFULLY in a search for a Wheelchair Rental that was needed asap and affordable for our family - I came across ASSIST HEALTH SUPPLIES. From the moment I called them, their Customer Care was stellar. I was connected to an associate by the name of Emiliia - and just her energy and kindness even just over the phone, immediately helped to alleviate my stress. She was not only helpful but knowledgeable and the level of her due diligence was impressive as she asked me questions that didn't even enter my mind in terms of what options are best for our Mama. Her communication was clear and concise too.Upon pick up, lots of free and spacious parking in front of their storefront and upon entering was treated with more kind and sympathetic energy. Emiliia took the time to show me the options and helped me to learn how to use the equipment. Upon transaction, I really appreciate how none of the associates tried to upsell me anything. They did provide me with more information regarding a couple of questions I had regarding fulfilling our Mama's future needs for homecare equipment/supplies. Also, they make the entire equipment rental process easy, eliminating any red tape.Words cannot express how grateful I am that ASSIST HEALTH SUPPLIES operates in Calgary and Medicine Hat. What an excellent team!

I gave the store a quick call to get a cane on an urgent basis. I needed same day delivery and some assistance with choosing the correct type. I was told that someone would be calling me back shortly to assist me. They didn't call back.Update: I was promptly contacted by Brenda and we discussed the issue. Brenda was highly professional and compassionate. The issue has been resolved. Things happen. It is a measure of excellence when someone like Brenda reaches out to resolve problems. Changing my rating to 5 stars.

I had a foot condition in which I needed assistance with an air boot. The employees Nancy Fulton & Twila were extremely helpful, courteous and patient in terms of finding the correct boot. Nancy also gave me a reference for a podiatrist that builds orthotics. I was in touch with this reference today, in which I was able to get an appointment tomorrow! Excellent service all around! Thank you!!

Being in a wheelchair is not an easy life. One of the things that makes it easier is picking a good company that listens l, respects and helps you. Because we have so many options to work with, it's hard to know which is a good fit. I worked with others over the last 9 yeasr, but I had not worked with Assist before the last few days.Assist was on a list of recommended vendors from my OT. Bryce and his crew were outstanding. I needed to change my carpet to laminate to make it easier for me to move and clean. I had to go through a government program to fund it. The best thing to do is find a vendor that is willing to go through all the steps ans wait for the government to pay after the work is done.During the quoting phase andknowing the limits of the program, one of the first things that was asked was "Are you opposed to using discount flooring, like from the End of the Roll kind of place with very limited amounts of end of production flooring. I had not said anything to any of the people quoting because I didn't want to influence the quote. But when he asked that, my eyes lit up and I said "yes! Thank you for thinking like that, all the others only consider new run high quality, and I just want something". To me, the fact that he was thinking like that was amazing.They came on time to do the work as agreed, and had it done within the 2 days agreed on. The workers were super kind and very efficient. Overall, this was one of the easiest things I have ever done, and it is because Bryce and Assist Health Supplies actually care about the people they are there for. The best part of it all was that the work looks amazing! They even threw in some plain new baseboards for the job.I highly recommend giving them a call.Adding a few before and after.

10 stars if it were possible!!! When dealing with health issues many of us don't realize we have options. I highly recommend Assist Health Supplies on Manitou Road in Calgary. I found this store by chance. The staff are great; knowledgeable, and very caring. On multiple occasions my family & I were treated efficiently and with kindness, respect & dignity. I have been going to Assist for years for my mobility device needs, and have never been disappointed. The customer service demonstrated by ALL staff is always exceptional, Toby and Stephanie have always gone above and beyond to ensure I get the device Ineed. The service department is also great and has kept my equipment in good condition. I won't go anywhere else ❤️

Completely terrible experience with Ralph. He took weeks to get anything done. He was unable to find something we needed. I had to do the leg work and he still couldn't find something that worked for us. He ignored emails and phone calls. If you have no choice but to deal with this place...ask for Derrian. He seems to want to help.

After undergoing major foot reconstruction surgery I reached out the Assist team for mobility equipment - Nicole was fantastic answering my questions/emails including helping me figure out how to obtain the equipment (they deliver!) - she was super informed, helpful and kind; when we accidentally went "over the rental time" Assist reached out to gently let us know and easily helped with the renewal support...thanks guys!!

As a wheelchair user for over 25 years I have dealt with a number of Calgary medical equipment dealers. I bought a new shower commode chair from Assist Health Supplies here in Calgary in February 2020 to replace my old one. When my new shower chair arrived I found out that the supplier had made updates to the model I had chosen which were not ideal for my unique needs. After explaining that to Tatum at Assist she was able to call the supplier and find me a shower chair exactly like the old one I was trying to replace so of course I was thrilled! The shower chair is set up perfectly for me now and I couldn't be happier with my new chair. Thanks again Tatum and Assist - I look forward to many comfortable showers for years to come now!

I rented an all-terrain knee scooter for three months following a foot injury, and have nothing but wonderful things things to say about the staff! My husband went in and picked it up for me, everyone was very knowledgeable and kind. They also were the most reasonably priced when calling around for quotes! The all-terrain scooter I got was very high quality and scooted around barns and fields with ease. It made my life so much easier! We will definitely be using Assist again when required!! Thanks so much guys!

I have purchased sports items such as wrist brace, knee and elbow sports bands.I have found the staff to be knowledgeable in the use of these sports aids. Even though I was only purchasing an insignificant order I was treated with care to ensure I got what I needed. Thanks Toby and other staff who "Assisted" me.

Assist Health Supplies definitely cares about customer service. I was looking for a rental hospital bed for my father as he was being discharged from the hospital. I had very little time to find a solution and these folks worked with me to find exactly what I needed immediately at a very competitive rate. I will definitely use them for future items needed.
